EMS 8 is a 2011 Chevy Tahoe. EMS 8 has been outfitted with a Mobile Fleet custom EMS cabinet system which carries all required Advanced Life Support equipment to meet the MIEMSS Seal of Excellence. EMS 8 is primarily used for additional staffing for incidents and our volunteer paramedics have the option of utilizing the vehicle for overnight responses.

EMS 810 is a 1999 Dodge Durango. This unit is currently assigned to the Chief of the Department.

Utility 8 is a 2004 Ford F-350 with a Stahl utility body. Utility 8 is the primary tow vehicle for Boat 8 and contains additional equipment to support such, including ice & cold water rescue suits, an ice rescue sled and dive team SCUBA equipment. During the winter months, the unit is outfitted with a “V” snow plow to support the ambulances in inclement weather.

Utility 81 is a 2007 GMC Yukon 4×4. Utility 81 is outfitted with a stretcher skid unit as well as a compliment of BLS equipment to support offroad transport capabilities. Utility 81 is also used by Rescue Squad members for transport between classes and training drills.

ATV 8 is a 2005 Kawasaki off-road mule. ATV 8 is outfitted with an EMS skid unit and BLS equipment.

SOT 8 is a 1997 Wells Cargo Command/MCI trailer. SOT 8 is BLS Equipped and contains MCI supplies, a tongue mounted Honda generator, roof mounted AC unit and a street side awning. The trailer is used to support ongoing operations at incidents.
